"Is this real life?"

...Chef smashed it to be honest. This night deprived me of sleep, but it was definitely worth it. Sgt. Pokes was as sick as ever. He is now a legend in my eyes after he randomly quoted "Is this real life?" from the infamous David After Dentist video which can be seen here. Flowdan... SKENG! When did he cut his hair off?! N-Type & Flowdan teamed together to create an immense hype. Poison Dart got 3 reloads while For The Kill got the lighters out and the hands in the air. Singalongs are always nice.
Youngsta always amazes me when he plays his set because his mixing is always 100% perfect. Each tune goes amazingly well with the next. He plays music for the proper dubstep listeners who have been listening for longer than 1 week. Bare classics. Hatcha... oh my days. The stamina crew must have used all their energy skanking because the mix was madness. If you were there and you know the name of the tune that came on before the Distance one near the end... please, please leave a comment. Its left a scar.
3 hours of sleep over a whole weekend isn't as bad as it sounds really. And yeah, going to dubstep nights alone is normal to me. Can meet some cool people...

Why Not?

If you are a fellow Rinse FM listener, you may have heard that I won tickets to Why Not on Saturday at Scala. I did not expect to win! Big up Benny Morgan for giving me the answer though because I didn't even hear the question being asked. Unfortunately for Ben, He can't make it.

Nice way to end a mediocre day isn't it. I now have a cold, thanks to my lovely sister. I currently feel like death, I even missed work due to it. Can't concentrate.. not good! If this post sounds a bit jumbled up, you know why.
Lauren's birthday = chocolate cake. I had a piece. It was nice. I have a photo which I can't show you, but it's funny. Just thought you should know.

As I feel so rubbish, I think I should get going to bed
Night peeps

P.S: DJ Tubby, I salute you.

Kashmir is run by noobs

I finished early today so I thought I'd put my day rider to use and take the bus into town. After I finished browsing the very few men's clothes stores, I was hungry, so I took a trip down to the infamous Kashmir fast food shop on Midland Road, which I used to really like.
After handing over my money for a Number 3 (1 pc Chicken, Donner meat, Fries & Coke) I took a seat as I waited for the food to be prepared.

I was sat down for literally about 30 minutes. FOR THAT AMOUNT OF FOOD =| smh. Within these 30 minutes, I had taken some photographs, played Juiced on my phone and watched TWO customers walk in and out of the shop after being handed their orders. Understandably, I was rather annoyed at this, so I went back to the counter and asked what was going on, and more importantly, how much longer I was going to be waiting - I was really hungry at this point.
To my annoyance, I discovered that the last piece of chicken was sold to the last customer who came in after me and I would have to wait an extra 15 minutes for the fresh batch to be cooked. I'm afraid the face I made wasn't the nicest I'd made today. After biting my tongue, I kindly asked for my £2.50 back and said I would "come back later," and went back on the bus.
As I was so amazingly hungry after sitting next to a happy sandwich eater all the way back, I went to the trusty chip shop, where I  bought a portion of chips, along with 2 pieces of chicken with no problem. Which was quite nice to be honest.
I really doubt I will step foot inside Kashmir again, unfortunately, as they used to be really good. For now it's going to be chip shops and mainstream food chains. Unless Grillers comes back. Fingers crossed. Hopefully the inside of the shop looks like above for a while longer!

Other than this food mishap, days been quite good. I've mastered the settings on my camera and am quite happy about the pictures I am now able to take =].

Anyway, back to Logan Sama on Kiss FM

Countdown...

No not that one! There is less than a week to go until the 2009 Formula 1 season is underway and to be honest, the wait has been tedious.  A lot of changes have been made since the last season, from the shape of the cars themselves, to the safety car rules to KERS, which I will not explain. I was filled with relief to find out that the 'winner takes all' scoring system had been scrapped after the amount of uproar it had caused! Honda are no more and have been replaced with Brawn, who are doing surprisingly well in testing for the amount of experience they don't have.  Reports say that McLaren aren't doing as well as expected and are having a hard time with their car, although they haven't unveiled all the parts of their new car as of yet so time will tell what happens with that.

The BBC will be broadcasting for the first time in years. I actually cant wait to watch the race without the interruption of ITV's adverts. Ahh I can hear the theme tune already..

Tayong Promo

Many many years ago, this guy vocalled one of my instrumentals from when I used to contribute to the scene. Now, at the age of 19, he's about to go on tour across each and every Oceana & Pure club across the UK, and his workrate is second to none. Tayong currently has a video on Channel U, which can be voted for by texting 3768 to 81700. He can be found on www.myspace.com/tayongtyn
This promo houses 15 songs ranging from the sad and serious to Grime that makes you want to skrewface. There is much more to this guy than meets the eye. Definitely worth checking out, and of course, this download is exclusive to sirmitchie.blogspot.com. Enjoy.

Oh My Days
